The John Munroe Hospital is an 54 bedded independent hospital which aims to provide mental health rehabilitation in a secure, relaxed and homely environment over four units, in which quality care, well being, security and comfort are of prime importance.

Horton is a 15 bedded low secure unit for people who present with very challenging behaviours and severe and enduring mental illness. The staffing ratio for this unit is 2 qualified staff and 8 clinical support workers to 15 patients. Age Range: 18 upwards.
Coxon is a 27 bedded rehabilitation unit and is a natural pathway from Horton Unit, it is for individuals with severe and enduring mental illness, early onset dementia and challenging behaviour. The staffing ratio for this unit is 2 qualified staff and 12 clinical support workers to 27 patients. Age Range: 18 upwards.
The Larches Male Bungalow is a 6 bedded intermediate rehabilitation facility and has a re-enablement focus. Age Range: 18 upwards. For more information on the Larches Male Bungalow click Here:
