The Larches - Male Bungalow

Situated on the site of the John Munroe Hospital, the Larches Male Bungalow is a 6 bedded intermediate mental health rehabilitation facility.

It is staffed by two care staff one being a RMN over 24 hours and has a reablement focus in a home like environment. Patients in the bunglow are at the stage where they can manage semi-independently and their mental health is at a stage where they require less of a controlling environment.

We accept direct referrals to this facility but the patient must be at a stage where they can manage semi-independently on their own with the support of staff.

If not then we will offer a placement in one of the wards in the main building and then the bungalow will be part of the step down process in the future.
