Staff Nurses (RMN/RNMH) Required.


We are looking for dynamic individuals who are prepared to work within a multidisciplinary setting and a flexible shift pattern. If you are looking for a new and challenging position within the field of mental health then you could be just the person we are looking for.

 

Brief overview of the organisation:

 

The Edith Shaw Hospital is a 12 bedded facility providing 24 hour care for patients either datained under the mental health act or informal, who require long term care.

 

 

Skills and knowledge required:


You will need to be enthusiastic and well motivated to join our friendly team. You will have excellent communication skills, and enjoy working with patients who may present with challenging behaviours and enduring mental health problems.
Successful candidates will be able assess, plan, implement and evaluate our care/management plans using our bespoke electronic documentation system (training provided).

 

Candidates should also have a good knowledge of the Mental Health Act (1983/2007), Mental Capacity Act (2005), DOLS and also be aware of relevant recent changes to the Act (training will be provided to keep you up to date).


We are dedicated to providing a patient centred approach to care including individual care planning and effective management plans through evidence based practice. You will be pivotal in facilitating the team to work effectively in order to help each individual patient achieve their full potential.

 

 

We may ask you to work varying shifts.
