Referrals

Making a referral:

• The referral process is simple and you will have guidance throughout the process.

• If you have a referral you would like to discuss with the commercial department please call 0844 504 5700 and a member of that department will talk you through the process, please ensure you have as much information about the service user as possible: history, diagnosis etc

• We endevour in most cases to arrange the assessment within 5 working days - We ensure at least two senior clinicians attend the assessment - usually 1 x Occupational Therapist and 1 x Registered Mental Nurse.

• Once we have assessed the service user we will be back in touch with you with the comprehensive assessment, risk assessments, care plans and the full cost for you to take to your panel meeting.

• At the John Munroe Hospital Group we feel the best way to make a decision about whether a facility is suitable for a patient is by visiting the facilities, therefore we offer tours and a more in depth discussion about service provision at your convenience - we will even provide refreshments and biscuits.
